Annual Term: All Chamber memberships (Individual, Student, SME, and Corporate tiers) are established on an annual contract term starting from the date of initial payment.
Payment Processing: Members may elect to have their annual dues processed via automatic recurring billing or manual billing. Payments are securely managed by our third-party merchant processors, Stripe and PayPal.
30-Day Refund Policy: We offer an unconditional, 100% money-back guarantee on membership dues. If you wish to cancel your membership for any or no reason, you must submit a written refund request to [email protected] within thirty (30) days of your payment date. Refund requests made after 30 days will not be honored, and dues will be retained for the remainder of the annual term.
The Chamber reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your membership, portal access, or directory listings immediately and without prior notice if you violate our community standards or engage in prohibited conduct.
Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to: Data scraping or harvesting the Member Directory to send unsolicited corporate spam, harassing other members, disruptive behavior at events, or misrepresenting your business credentials.
Forfeiture of Fees: If your membership is terminated by the Chamber for cause (due to a violation of these Terms), you completely forfeit all membership dues paid, and no refunds will be issued, regardless of whether the termination occurs within the initial 30-day window.
Informational Purposes Only: The Chamber provides a variety of curated checklists, international trade roadmaps, civic frameworks (including voting, passport, and tax identifiers), and educational LMS materials. All such resources are provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis for informational and general educational reference.
Professional Consultation Required: The Chamber does not provide legal, accounting, financial, or official consular services. Relying on our content is done entirely at your own risk. The Chamber, its board, and its volunteers shall not be held liable for any negative financial, business, legal, or tax outcomes resulting from your reliance on these materials.
Directory Disclaimers & No Endorsement: The Chamber maintains a community directory showcasing businesses, service providers, and individual professionals. Being listed in our directory does not constitute an official endorsement, vetting, or validation by the Chamber. Users are solely responsible for performing their own due diligence before hiring or partnering with any listed business.
By providing your mobile number and opting in through our designated website checkboxes during membership checkout or event registration, you agree to receive transactional and promotional text messages from the Chamber.
Program Description: Messages will consist of member-focused communications, including event notifications (such as Papinho or Brazil Day alerts), membership renewal notifications, and urgent community alerts.
Opt-In Keywords: You may explicitly trigger mobile updates by using keywords such as START or JOIN.

Carrier Rates and Disclaimers: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile data plan. Message frequency varies based on user engagement. The Chamber and all mobile network carriers are not liable for delayed, misdirected, or undelivered messages.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action, suit, or judicial proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, Chamber membership, or website usage must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Hennepin County, Minnesota.
